In this interview, we talk with Dr Edyta Zduńska-Leseux about new regulations on the accessibility of products and services and how they affect consumer rights, including the rights of ebook readers.
The interview was recorded at the end of 2025 and discusses regulations resulting from the European Accessibility Act and the Polish law implementing this directive. These regulations expand consumer rights regarding the accessibility of products and services.
In the interview, we discuss questions such as:
How do the new regulations affect consumer rights?
Who can benefit from the new regulations?
What can consumers do if a digital service or an ebook is not accessible?
What does the complaint process look like?
Our guest is Dr Edyta Zduńska-Leseux – researcher, lecturer and accessibility ambassador at the Warsaw School of Economics (SGH).
The conversation is hosted by Ewelina Szyszkowska from Have a Book.
